【WILSON n Six. One Tour 90】
Hello! I am Akai.
Today I want to introduce this racket !
"In each of the years 2004, 2005, and 2006, he won three Grand Slam titles — the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and the US Open — using the n Six. One Tour 90."
This n Six.One Tour 90 actually had slight differences between the retail version and the one Federer used. In 2004, the key difference lay in the string spacing near the center of the racquet face. While the weight, balance, and string pattern were the same, there was a distinction in the number of string holes in the PWS (Power Weight System) area—located on both sides of the racquet face. The retail version had five holes, whereas Federer’s custom model had only four.
This customization came at Federer’s request to Wilson: he wanted the ball to fly a bit more without altering the racquet's weight and balance. In response, Wilson’s development team decided to widen the string spacing near the sweet spot to increase power. This Federer-specific model was released in 2006 as a limited edition of 2,000 units—and it sold out instantly.
We are looking forward your visiting.
